We would absolutely and without a doubt stay in this property again. It exceeded our expectation not only for the great location and views but also the amazing staff!! Every single one of them made our stay extra special. The room was epic with breath taking views! The chef and the food at the hotel's restaurant was unbelievable! We were extremely sad when out stay came to an end. Cannot recommend this place enough!

Wonderful & spotless hotel where any guest is truly invited to relax. Gorgeous rooms with panoramic views to the ocean, well equipped from the whirlpool in the rooms, to the little biscuits and chocolats available, to the options to watch Netflix directly setup. The team running the hotel is beyond fantastic - special mention to Dean who has truly made our stay special with his impeccable service, positive attitude & attention to detail (we got our own private dinner on the balcony!). Highly recommended hotel.

Hermanus is a beautiful quiet city.
Hermanus is a beautiful quiet city. Close to many Shopping Malls and not even crowded.
Our host, Kosie, went out of his way to make our stay in Hermanus memorable. Even concerned about our safety when the storm wreaked havoc in other parts of the Western Cape. Kosie, along with the owner of the accommodation, advised us to stay an extra night, free of charge and to rather travel home when it was safe to do so.
Kosie and Owner, thank you so, so much for concerning yourself about your guests and put their safety ahead of monetary gain. Will definitely return to Hermanus, Voelklip for my next vacation.

Friendliness of everyone was awesome.
Friendliness of everyone was awesome. Everywhere you went you felt safe and welcome. Very easy to get around. Loved the hiking trails. A must-have is comfortable shoes and clothes for all weather types, because you walk a lot and the weather changes very fast.
I loved the friendly, home-like atmosphere. The location right on the beach was sensational. Above all, the staff definitely were brilliant. They were extremely pleasant and helpful. Particularly impressive were the breakfasts. We would arrive to a beautifully set table and the food was brilliant. Fresh fruit and yoghurt was so superior to that provided in the smorgasbord breakfasts provided by big hotels. Then there were the superbly cooked a la carte hot dishes. It was a great start to the day.
Fabulous clean and secure gated property. Wish we’d had longer - it’s the perfect location to explore Hermanus. There are five 2 bedroom townhomes around a paved courtyard and walled pool. The property is new and well appointed with open plan layout, modern furniture, crisp sheets, great towels and everything else you might need for a comfortable stay. Woolworths is on the next block for stocking up with fresh produce and restaurants, bars, places of interest are all in walking distance.
Visiting any hotel during deep lockdown level 4 is not an ideal time as no-sit down was allowed at restaurants. However, the wonderful staff at V&L upgraded us to the spacious Sky Room with a separate lounge, big open balcony with the most incredible views over the sea and the main Hermanus village. The facility included a useful kitchenette, plus access to a pool. This was an exceptional stay and would recommend the Harbour House Hotel on the square anytime.
Quiet, well maintained and run hotel. The rooms are very nice and it is worth to book the seaview rooms with super view onto the coast... We even saw whales in the bay jumping out of the water and play around... Exceptional staff, always very helpful, kind and here for the guests. The courtesy shuttle to Hermanus worked very well. The location just at the coastline is superb, even though a bit far out of Hermanus. But, with the shuttle no problem.
The hotel is located on walking distance from the city center. Room was good with a nice bathroom and breakfast was also good, I did like the pancakes. The host was helpful with giving advice. You can park your car on the property. Wi-Fi is only good for internet not streaming. You can make nice walks along the sea, I spotted a lot of whales. I regret I had only 1 day in Hermanus. You can easily spend more (also at this guest house!).
5th stay in Hermanus in variuos B&Bs and self catering apartments but Goozi is the best so far! Very well equipped, very nice shower, super comfortable bed - all is perfect!
Location cannot be better: shops, restaurants, beach - everything within walking distance. Very convenient.
And the owner is exceptionally friendly and helpful, which makes the stay even more appreciable (thank you, Eunice!)
Free and safe parking
We loved our stay in Hermanus! The Lavender Manor is in walking distance to a lovely beach trail and a delicious and friendly local restaurant. Our room was spacious and comfy, our hosts affable and accomodating, and the breakfast ample and tasty as well. Hermanus is a lovely place to drive around to explore the excavation at Klipgat Cave and the cute town of Stanford for lunch and some gallery hopping.
To say this hotel was out of the norm would be an understatement. It looks more like a french chateau but is right in the heart of Hermanus. It has really nice pleasant gardens and the rooms are large and well appointed, with two nice chairs and coffee table. Lovely breakfast in the adjoining restaurant, which I understand belongs to the same owner. For us it was simply charming.
This place looks like a tiny Boutique Hotel, the rooms are lovely, there is a lot of attention to small details and you get this instant relaxing feeling as soon as you step in. The host Johan is attentive and friendly, and breakfast is excellent. Top accommodation in Hermanus!
we had a wedding and went to Hermanus for 4 days. Baleens hotel was very comfortable close to all amenities and close to the whale watching boat trip which was why we went. the manager was excellent and helpful. breakfast was excellent and a comfortable stay.
Hermanus is our favorite holiday destination for the past seven years and we have been staying in the Windsor Hotel every time since our first vacation in Hermanus. We are very satisfied with the room, view and breakfast as well as the staff's friendliness.
We liked the balcony looking towards the sea, the magnificent view. It is located perfectly by the trails and by downtown. Hermanus. Special efforts.have been done to build a nice guide in the room for the guests.
We had such a lovely stay! A little outside of Hermanus, but we enjoyed the peace and quiet. It has a nice view on the balcony! Host was so kind and helpful. Nice shower with hot water! Wifi was good!
We absolutely love this hotel. This was our second time (we enjoyed it so much the first time we decided to book again). This is in our opinion the best hotel in Hermanus. You won't be disappointed.
beautiful boutique hotel that was so welcoming! location couldn’t have been more perfect and the staff were lovely & helpful. breakfast at the restaurant was amazing too!
this is now my go to place in Hermanus. so easy to get anywhere in town. beds are comfy and rooms well decorated . Marc is a wealth of information and so friendly.
