You can enjoy the amazing view into nature from inside through the big windows, from the big porch or - and this was our big highlight - from the fire-heated hot tub. At night you can watch the stars sitting in the hot tub with nothing but nature around. It is simply beautiful and a great place to calm down, relax and enjoy the quiet away from all street noise. Since it is entirely off the grid, it is not affected by loadshedding. We’d highly recommend taking a factory tour in the olive oil factory with Allison while there. Both Allison and Francis are very welcoming, friendly and caring hosts. If we ever make it back to South Africa, the trip up to the farm with this special cottage will be a must on the itenerary!

Detta afrikanska läge ligger i Pat Busch Mountain Reserve på ett 2000 hektar stort berg med bäckar, fjälldammar, fågelliv och olika djur. You can't beat this location! The views are amazing. We loved hiking to the waterfall. The pool area is great, and the my son even caught two fish in the dam.
